Having some big goals is good - hitting them requires grit

Jake is a two sport player alternating and simultaneously playing football and baseball.

He started his high school career at Mission Viejo High School playing both sports and transferred to Lakewood High School to play both sports the summer before his sophomore year.

Long term goals include college with a major in either criminal justice or psychology, playing college sports, and a pro career in sports followed by either joining the police department or continuing in the sports arena in any capacity such as announcing or as a trainer.

Jake is looking for the best education, atmosphere for learning, team attitude, and strong alumni when choosing his college and is currently enrolled in the Merit Scholar Program at Lakewood High School to ensure his academics are on par.

Jake credits his faith as a source of strength and calm regarding direction in his life.
